for healthy, satisfying lasting relationships.
This research
based presentation includes elements from the nationally acclaimed
approach (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) seen on

Participants learn
how to identify and change negative communication patterns into
positive patterns with practical
take-away skills that can be used at home or in the office.

First Things First
educators will come to your office and perform a 50-minute
PowerPoint presentation. Participants
are asked to take a simple relationship evaluation in the beginning
and will leave with practical, take-away skills. Employees can brown
bag or the company can provide the lunch.

Dear
HR Director
In
your position, you try to find new ways to increase employees’
productivity and overall well-being. Did
you know that healthy relationships and marriages contribute
significantly to workplace productivity?
Research shows that conflict at home and divorce negatively
impact productivity and absenteeism.
First
Things First of
Greater Richmond is a community non-profit organization dedicated to
strengthening marriages and families in our community.
We accomplish this primarily through education, awareness and
collaboration.
One of our premier
programs to build healthy relationships and stronger marriages and
families is our Lunch & Learn Series.
Designed to be effective for your employees in a manageable
period of time, Lunch & Learn gives your workers practical,
communication skills they can put to use immediately in their
relationships at home and at the work place. Please review the
attached proposal for a detailed description.
We are supported by some
of our community’s foremost leaders, Bobby Ukrop (Ukrop’s
Supermarkets), Tom Chewning (Dominion Resources), Stephen Mapp
(First Market Bank) and Tom Byrd (Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield) and
by corporations like Equity Concepts and COMCAST.
Our most recent
presentation was at First Market Bank where they already plan to
repeat the program for their Operations Center. Stephen Mapp, Senior Vice President at First Market Bank,
summed up his experience this way, “Companies whose goal it is to
value the life balance of their associates could greatly benefit
from the First Things First Lunch and Learn Program. It was
terrific!”
This is a great
opportunity to offer your employees an interesting and useful
learning experience that could improve their emotional well-being
and ultimately increase their productivity and benefit to your
company bottom line.
A member of First
Things First will be in contact with you shortly to determine a
date that would be convenient for a Lunch & Learn program for
your staff. We look
forward to being a valuable resource to your organization.
Very
Sincerely,
Bob
Ruthazer, CFLE
Executive
Director
