How can we strengthen our families?   

                 Through education, public awareness and collaboration...

FTF has three strategic goals:

1. Reduce the number of divorces filed in the Richmond metropolitan area
   
2. Reduce out-of-wedlock pregnancies in the Richmond metropolitan area
   
3. Increase fathers’ involvement with their children
   

How will we accomplish this?

FTF emphasizes four strategic actions:

1. Use credible research to identify significant problems facing the Richmond Metropolitan area, emphasizing families and youth in the city of Richmond.
2. Identify solutions that are based on traditional values and principles; measure the effectiveness of these solutions based on credible, empirical data; evaluate the impact of these potential solutions.
3. Build broad public support for values-based solutions primarily through advocacy, education, communication and collaboration rather than providing direct client services.
4. Empower and equip local leaders and professionals who work with families and who are also promoting values-based solutions; provide support that advances their effectiveness.
